As part of the "University Global Expansion Project" of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), 10 educational projects in 2011 and 17 projects in 2016 were adopted in collaboration with universities in Japan, China, and South Korea. Kyushu University currently collaborates with Pusan National University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
The Faculty of Science and Technology of Kyushu University together with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Pusan National University offers talented researchers and engineers the opportunity to earn two master's degrees simultaneously via our Double Degree Master's course in science and technology specializing in Energy and Environmental Science and Technology (EEST). This course equips our graduates to play an active role globally in the fields of science and technology and solve emerging energy and environmental problems.
